By bus
Buses 134 and 221 stop on Woodhouse Road between the junctions with Hilton Avenue and Bramber Road.
By train
New Southgate station is the nearest mainline station. From there, at bus stop K take the bus 221 towards North Finchley/Tally Ho Corner or Edgware. Alight on Woodhouse Road between the junctions with Hilton Avenue and Bramber Road.
By London Underground
The nearest underground stations are Woodside Park or West Finchley on the Northern Line. From Woodside Park it is a brisk 20 minute walk to Bramber Road. From West Finchley it is possible to walk along Nether Street to the junction with Argyle Road and Alexandra Grove and pick up the 221 bus at stop TT towards Turnpike Lane station. Alight on Woodhouse Road between the junctions with Hilton Avenue and Bramber Road.
By car or cycle
Wren Academy is located near the A1003 (Woodhouse Road) with the main entrance on Warnham Road which is accessed via Bramber Road.
From the A406 (North Circular Road) heading west – Continue straight into the A1110 (Bowes Road). Take the first exit off the Betstyle Circle (roundabout) onto the A1003 (Friern Barnet Road). Continue straight across the traffic lights at the crossroads with Colney Hatch Lane and continue on the A1003 (now Woodhouse Road) until you turn right into Bramber Road then left into Warnham Road.
From the A406 (North Circular Road) heading east – As the A406 merges with the A1, turn left onto the A598 (Regents Park Road) towards Finchley Central. Continue along the A598 (Ballards Lane) through Finchley Central and on towards North Finchley. Just after Waitrose, which will be on your left, turn right at the traffic lights and proceed straight across at the next set of traffic lights behind the bus station onto the A1003 (Woodhouse Road). Turn right into Bramber Road then left into Warnham Road.
From the M1 – Leave the M1 at junction 2 and proceed straight ahead onto the A1 (Barnet Bypass/Great North Way) towards Central London (the City), Holloway, North Circular A406 East. Turn left onto A504 (Hendon Lane). Turn left (continuing in the same general direction) onto the A598 (Regents Park Road/Ballards Lane). Continue along the A598 (Ballards Lane) through Finchley Central and on towards North Finchley. Entering North Finchley, just after Waitrose which will be on your left, turn right at the traffic lights and proceed straight across at the next set of traffic lights behind the bus station onto the A1003 (Woodhouse Road). Turn right into Bramber Road then left into Warnham Road. |
