There is also a link to a document giving further information and telling you how to apply. Once you have read these please complete this application form for Year 7 admission
and post a hard copy by 31 October 2017 to The Principal, Wren Academy, Hilton Avenue, North Finchley, LONDON N12 9HB
The Academy takes part in the Pan-London Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme. To make an application, you need to complete your local authority’s form available from your child’s primary school or from your local authority’s School Admissions team. This form is also available via your local authority's website (e-admissions).
All applicants are considered for Community places. If you also wish to be considered for a Foundation (church) place, you will also need to complete the Wren Academy Supplementary Information Form which will be enclosed at the back of the hard copy prospectus or it can be downloaded from the link on the right. If you are applying for a Community place you do not need to complete this form. Click on the links on the right of this page to find out more about the Admissions Policy, Foundation and Community places and also how to apply.
Please note that our secondary Admissions Policy incorporates an important change for September 2016 admission. Following the designated period of statutory consultation, Governors have decided that admission points for Foundation places will be awarded only on the following basis:
children whose parents regularly attend a Church of England church (2 points)
children whose parents regularly attend a church of any Christian denomination in fellowship with the Church of England (1 point)
There is also a change to the way places are allocated which is intended to increase access to local children for Community places.
Governors have decided upon this change in order to ensure that the Academy continues to provide for its local community as well as possible.
Full details of the Academy's admission arrangements can be found in the policy document which is available via the link on the right. If having read the policy you have any further questions about our admission arrangements, please email our Admissions department at firstname.lastname@example.org
